After five and a half years of graduate school, I found upper academia frustrating and lonely. I am a people person! Although I miss the armchair travel, I chose to join a network marketing company because of the vision of the young founders of ViSalus. I figure they made a million dollars before I ever did and I desired the freedom that financial independence and residual income can bring. I will return to write and complete my dissertation but, in the meantime, I am building my personal empire and growing tremendously in the process.
